Set up of these friendship lamps
The first time set up involves adding the Wi Fi credentials of your home/office to the lamps. Once they have the access to internet, they will save it forever and you do not have to enter credentials again.
Color change of Telepathy Lamps
Long touch on the steel caps sensors and the Telepathy crystals will enter the color change mode. Once you see the color of your choice, touch again. This time a short touch and the lamp will save this color.
Now a touch will show this color on all connected lamps.

Yes the app works on both android and ios. The lamps are independent of the app. App is just useful for doing first time wifi connection and then sending colors to the lamp when away.
