Printing:
A photo lamp is special because it is a lamp that radiates your own memories. The photos edit and their print quality are of utmost importance.
Q) Which is the printing method used? Like what kind of color reproduction can I expect?
A) We use a six-color inkjet printer to print your photographs. The two extra colors of light cyan and light magenta create true shades of the color spectrum. Moreover, the inkjet printer uses liquid ink. With the light behind this liquid ink emits brilliance. Imagine the watercolors which we used to paint with as kids. Remember when we used to see those paintings against sunlight? Liquid ink has this brilliant advantage over laser printers when used for products with light.
Q) You said that it is an inkjet print. So what is the life of the prints then?
A) It is a valid point. Inkjet on one hand offers supreme print quality is vulnerable to scratches. But for countering this and to give a good life to our photo lamps, we laminate all our prints. This process completely secures the prints inside and they are no more in contact with the outer atmosphere. Hence they are the same even after many years.
Q) Does the heat generated because of the light fade the prints in the longer run?
A) No. The prints are adhered to acrylic sheets, the inner side of which faces the light. Hence the print is not in any contact with the inner heat.
Materials:
Q) What is the body made up of? Does it get broken easily?
A) Though depending on the design the usage of materials varies from polished wood, PVC, MDF and others for framing. But in every design where the light is radiating from the picture, the sheet behind is acrylic. Acrylic has light transfusion properties as good as glass. But it is very rugged as compared to the glass. The low fragility of acrylic makes it a perfect material for lamps. So the photo lamps are safe even with kids around.
Q) Which lights do you use? What is the power usage?
A) All our lamps majorly use energy-efficient LED lights. The non-rotating models use 3- 7 W of power. Hence they can be kept on all night without stress.
Q) Are these products repairable? Or use and throw models?
A) All our lamps are made with premium quality LED lights and components. But, if you face any issue over the years, all our products are completely repairable.
